Christmas Tidings (or Tydings) from a cozy 1935 stone house snug on 12 acres of oak trees and green pastures in Justin, Texas. 

As soon as I saw this warm wood dining room and beautiful antique cabinet, I wanted to get my Christmas on.

Christmas cabin decorating was something the late designer Charles Faudree did so well.

Give him a room like this:

Christmas is one time of year when we can follow in his footsteps and let more be more.  We can take  a view like this:

Ideally the needlepoint pillow would be a King Charles Cavalier spaniel, but Jack Russells look cute perched on chairs too.

Justin, Texas is a suburb of Fort Worth. They claim they're "Everything a Hometown Should Be" and are definitely proving it in December. Meet them at City Hall tonight for a picture perfect evening of tree-lighting, ice-skating, arts and crafts, and pictures with Santa.
