I don't keep up with the Kardashians, (and if you're reading this blog, it's a pretty safe bet that you don't either). However, I do keep up with Curbed.com and when they linked to a story about Kylie Jenner's house being decorated by Martyn Lawrence Bullard, I wanted to take a peek.
Somehow this living room both is and isn't what I would picture for a 21 year old. For starters, the black marble fireplace surround is very sober and cuts the room in half. Martyn knows better than to do that! Look at this fireplace in her family room that's sleek and to the ceiling:
So much better, right? But neither room is very youthful, (with the swing excepted) or feminine enough for a cosmetics and fashion maven. I suggest this design instead:

What is it with all of these designs having extra ottomans and pillows all over the floor? It's like they're playing the kids' game "hot lava" and avoiding stepping on the floor itself.
Oh, never mind. I guess Kylie does play that, and dresses accordingly:
By the way, if you're in need of a good laugh, visit this Instagram account. Her "brother" Kirby inserts himself into pictures like the one above, and I daresay improves them greatly!
